This information will help you troubleshoot a gameserver that does not respond to queries or is not starting correctly.
1) Make sure you have DEP disabled.

2) Make sure the IP it is assigned to is added to your NIC card.
3) Check to see that any additional programs required by the game server are installed (i.e. COD4 requires directx9 installed).
4) Make sure your firewall is not blocking the game's exe, ip and/or port.
5) If this is a STEAM based game, make sure your files are up to date.
6) Make sure TCAdmin is up to date.
7) Make sure you do NOT have any blank spaces in your game files folder path. Example -> C:\Program Files\Activision
2nd:
1) If all of the issues in the 1st section are fine, run the game server on the desktop and check for errors.
2) If there are no errors, try to query the game server using Qtracker or some other 3rd party software.
If the game server does not query when you run the game server on the desktop, the issue is with your dedicated server, network, game server files, command line or server config. When the game server does not work from the desktop, it will not work in TCAdmin. Once you have resolved the issue try and run it with TCAdmin and see if the game server works.
3rd:
1) If the game server runs on the desktop and queries with a 3rd party software like Qtracker, but still does not work when you run TCAdmin. Run the game server with Interact with Desktop enabled. Start the game server via TCAdmin and log into remote desktop in console/admin mode to check for errors.
2) Make sure the command line you used to run it on the desktop is the same that TCAdmin is using to start the server.
3) If you have covered all of these issues and still can not get it to work, open a support ticket with us.
